The explosion at a motor transport enterprise in the Holosiyivskyi district of Kyiv was not related to the operation of gas supply systems, since the building was not gasified.
This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration on Sunday, September 8.
The Kyiv City Military Administration specified that the previous information about the gas explosion was not confirmed. Kyivgas JSC reported that the building of the motor transport enterprise was not gasified.
"Kyivgas emergency service received a request for an explosion of an unknown mixture. After arriving at the scene, it was found that the building on the territory of which the explosion occurred was not gasified. Emergency services continue to work at the scene," the Kyiv City Military Administration statement said.
An investigation is currently underway, the results of which will reveal the causes of the explosion.
