General Staff names 2 hottest axes of front

Over the past day, 183 combat clashes were recorded across the front. Pokrovsk and Kurakhove Axes remain the hottest.

This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

So, yesterday, in total, the russian aggressor launched four missile strikes, 93 airstrikes (including 128 guided aerial bombs) and 1,548 kamikaze drone strikes at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, and carried out 4,579 shellings on the positions of troops and populated areas, 121 of them from MLRSes.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, the defenders repelled 44 assault and offensive actions. The enemy concentrated its efforts in the areas of Novohrodivka, Mykhailivka and Hrodivka, where it carried out more than half of its attacks. In addition, the attempts of the occupiers to advance were stopped near Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Novotroitske, Myroliubivka, and Selidove of the Donetsk Region.

In the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Krasnohorivka, Halytsynivka, Ukrainsk and Heorhiyivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops 47 times.

In the Kharkiv Axis, the aggressor continued active actions, in total three combat clashes took place. The fighting took place in the area of ​​the settlement of Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk Axis, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 18 times. The main efforts of the invaders were made in the areas of Synkivka, Lozova, Stelmakhivka, Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, and Andriyivka.

In the Lyman Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 27 attacks by the occupiers near Cherneshchyna, Nevske, Lozova, Torske, Makiyivka, and Dibrova.

In the Siversk Axis, the Defense Forces also repelled 8 assaults near Spirne, Verkhniokamyanske, and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, the defenders stopped 8 attempts by the enemy to break through the defenses in the Chasiv Yar, Andriyivka and Klishchiyivka districts of the Donetsk Region.

In the Toretsk Axis, with the support of aviation, the enemy carried out 10 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Nelipivka and Sukha Balka.

In the Vremivka Axis, the aggressor carried out 7 assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Vodiane and Vuhledar of the Donetsk Region.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, defenders harshly stopped 11 attempts by the occupiers to advance to the lines occupied by Ukrainian troops.

There were no significant changes in the Huliaipole and Orikhiv Axes. The enemy carries out permanent attacks on civilian infrastructure, positions of Ukrainian troops, and uses aviation.

In the Volyn and Polissia Axes, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups of invaders.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, shelling populated areas from the territory of the russian federation, conducting sabotage and reconnaissance activities.

"Our soldiers continue to inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire line of combat engagement and in its rear," the message reads.

In particular, yesterday the aviation and missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck two control points, EW unit and ten areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
