On September 5, at 2:40 p.m., energy workers returned to operation the damaged second power transmission line to the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia Region).
This is stated in the message of the Energoatom National Nuclear Energy generating company on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Thus, according to the report, the power supply of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP from the Ukrainian power system has been restored by two lines.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russian shelling on September 2 caused damage to one of the two external overhead lines through which the Zaporizhzhia NPP receives power from the Ukrainian power system to meet its own needs.
