The Verkhovna Rada received a submission from Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on the appointment of 8 ministers.
The representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In particular, submissions were received on the appointment of:
- Olha Stefanishyna as Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration - Minister of Justice;
- Oleksii Kuleba as Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction - Minister of Development of Communities and Territories;
- Vitalii Koval as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food;
- Matviy Bidnyi as Minister of Youth and Sports;
- Svitlana Hrynchuk as Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources;
- Natalia Kalmykova as Minister of Veteran Affairs;
- Herman Smetanin as Minister for Strategic Industries;
- Mykola Tochytskyi as Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia, said that on September 4, a meeting of the monomajority faction was held, at which personnel renewal was discussed and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy joined.
