On the morning of Wednesday, September 4, Lviv was bombarded with missiles. Residential buildings, schools were damaged, there are victims and many wounded.
This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi and the city mayor Andrii Sadovyi.
"Residential buildings were damaged in Lviv as a result of enemy shelling," said the message of the head of the Regional Military Administration at 06:16 a.m.
He added that all specialized services have already been dispatched to the scene.
The mayor of Lviv, Sadovyi, clarified that there are residential buildings on fire in the city near the main train station.
"Two schools will not start classes today: students of Arnika and 17 will stay at home," Sadovyi reported.
He clarified that there are many broken windows in the area of Konovaltsia, Mikhnovskykh Brothers and Melnyka Streets. Information about the victims is being clarified.
As of 9:00 a.m., it is known that seven people were killed in Lviv, Mayor Sadovyi reported. Among them are 3 children. Another 38 wounded as a result of the russian missile strike.
In addition, according to the Lviv Regional Military Administration, more than 50 buildings were damaged. Two schools and two medical institutions were also damaged. All services work on the scene. Debris clearing is ongoing.
