Four regions of Ukraine indicated as territory of RF in new russian school textbooks

In some regions of the aggressor country of russia, textbooks have appeared in schools in which the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions of Ukraine are indicated as the territory of the russian federation.

This was reported by the russian Telegram channel Pikuly with reference to its subscribers.

According to the author of the channel, subscribers shared with him photos of how the map of russia looks like in some educational publications.

In the images, you can see that the russians marked the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions as part of the russian federation in full administrative boundaries.

Thus, the russians marked Kherson as part of the russian federation, despite the fact that the city was under occupation only from March to November 2022. Since then, Kherson has been controlled by Ukraine.

The situation is similar with Zaporizhzhia, which was never controlled by the russian army. In the textbook, it is also listed as part of the russian federation.

It should be noted that, as of now, the russian occupation army does not have full control over any of the regions listed above.

"I wonder if school maps will change the affiliation of the Kursk Oblast by next year?" the author of the channel wondered.

He also showed a photo of a fragment of the chapter entitled "Formation of the territory of russia". In the last paragraph, the russians wrote about the so-called "referendums" illegally held in 2014 and 2022.

At the same time, in this paragraph, the authors of the textbook did not mention that the "referendums" took place as a result of russia's full-scale military aggression against Ukraine. Also, the text does not mention that the world community did not recognize the results of the "referendums".

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in June 2024, the international human rights organization Human Rights Watch stated that russia is banning Ukrainian education in the occupied territories, planting its program permeated with anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

We will remind you that in 2023, a school textbook was released in russia, which contains materials that make it possible to prepare children for war.

We also wrote that starting in September, children will be trained as drone operators in schools in the occupied territories.
