German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has accused russian dictator vladimir putin of preparing for a new "cold war" against Ukraine.

In recent weeks and months, the heating and water supply infrastructure has been deliberately attacked, Baerbock said during consultations with colleagues in Brussels.
"For the purpose of freezing people to death in winter," she said.
In her opinion, putin wants an even more large-scale "cold war" than in previous years.
According to Baerbock, the EU's response should be a new protective shield for Ukraine.
She noted that Germany wants to deliver four more IRIS-T air defense systems and additional Gepard anti-aircraft gun installations by the end of the year.
Air defense "still remains the most important thing for protecting human lives on the ground in Ukraine," Baerbock emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the attack by the aggressor country russia on the energy facilities of Ukraine on August 26 was the largest since the beginning of the full-scale war.
Ukrenergo announced that plans for preparing for winter will have to be adjusted due to the attack on the energy sector.
