The Odesa Portside Plant (OPZ, Odesa Region) chose the Ukrnaftogazburinnia LLC (Lviv) as the winner of the tender for the supply of 242.557 million cubic meters of natural gas until the end of 2024.
This follows from a statement by ExPro, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The Ukrnaftogazburinnia LLC was registered in August 2023; its manager and founder is Mykhailo Mazur.
In September 2023, the company received a license from the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities (NCREPU) for the right to carry out business activities in the supply of natural gas.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in September 2023, the OPZ asked President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to facilitate the launch of production.
The OPZ specializes in the production of ammonia and urea and the transshipment of chemical products coming from the CIS countries for export.
99.5667% of the OPZ shares belong to the state; they are managed by the State Property Fund.
