On Wednesday, August 28, as of 6 a.m., one enemy ship was detected in the Black Sea. It is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
This follows from a statement by the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (Navy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces) posted on Telegram.
There are no russian ships in the Sea of Azov.
Meanwhile, two enemy ships have been spotted in the Mediterranean, but neither of them is a Kalibr carrier.
The military also reported that during the day, in the interests of russia, the passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out:
- to the Black Sea - 9 ships, of which 4 continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 5 ships, of which 3 were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
The Navy emphasized that the russian Federation continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, 15 regions of Ukraine suffered as a result of the russian mass attack on August 26, and the energy infrastructure was once again the target of russian terrorists.
