The russian occupiers shelled the city of Izium, Kharkiv Region, around 10 p.m., injuring 12 people, including five children.
This was reported by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to preliminary information, the Tornado long-range MLRS was used for the attack.
Residential buildings and a bakery were damaged as a result of the shelling.
In addition, 12 people were injured, with one person hospitalized, two with minor injuries, and two more with cuts to their limbs, including a 13-year-old child. Another seven people, including four children aged 3, 5, 8, and 16, had an acute stress reaction.
Law enforcement officers continue to record the consequences of this crime and conduct an investigation to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russians shelled eight settlements in the Donetsk Region last day. Casualties were reported.
The russians attacked 21 settlements in the Kherson Region in one day. One person was killed, and ten more were injured.
