Shmyhal rules out possibility of conducting tenders for restoration of Okhmatdyt until examination of damage completed

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal ruled out the possibility of holding tenders for the restoration of Okhmatdyt until the examination of the damage caused by the russian missile attack is completed.

He said this during a forum in Kyiv, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"An examination of the damage is currently underway. The damage is serious. After that, decisions on tenders and further steps will be taken," he said.

Shmyhal added that the public currently has full access to control every penny collected by the citizens of Ukraine for the restoration of the hospital.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Okhmatdyt - Healthy Childhood charitable foundation refused to transfer almost UAH 380 million for the restoration of the medical facility due to the prohibition of anti-corruption legislation.

The tenders of the National Children's Specialized Hospital Okhmatdyt for consultation and supervision of the repair of the facade and interior of the building, which was damaged on July 8 as a result of a russian missile attack, have been canceled.

Okhmatdyt planned to spend UAH 14.565 million on consultations and supervision of repairs.
