In the city of Vovchansk in the north of the Kharkiv Region, where hostilities have been ongoing since the beginning of May, a group of russian invaders has been blocked for several months.
Vitalii Sarantsev, the spokesman of the Kharkiv operative and tactical group (OTG), said this on the air of the telethon.
According to him, we are talking about the occupiers who, as a result of hostilities, found themselves blocked on the territory of the Vovchansk aggregate plant.
Sarantsev said that the occupiers are trying to carry out the task of securing the blocked soldiers with the help of drones.
"It is with them that they deliver water, deliver ammunition and medicines," said the spokesman of the Kharkiv OTG.
He added that at first there were about 40 servicemen of the russian army at the plant. Currently, their number has decreased, as some of the occupiers have been eliminated.
Sarantsev noted that among the occupiers there are lying wounded, and there are those who are able to fight, despite the injuries they received.
He emphasized that the occupiers, who are at the factory, are limited in their actions.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 20, the Kharkiv OTG of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that the russians were preparing for an assault in Vovchansk.
It will be recalled that on August 12, it became known that the russians had launched assault groups in Vovchansk.
