On Saturday, August 24, russian troops shelled the center of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region, as a result of which 5 civilians were killed and at least 5 more civilians were wounded.
The tragedy was reported by the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office and the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
According to the investigation, at 11:46 a.m. on August 24, russian troops shelled the town of Kostiantynivka, probably with artillery. A residential quarter became a target for the occupiers.
As a result of the enemy attack, five citizens - three men and two women - received injuries incompatible with life.
A man and four women were taken to medical institutions with injuries of varying degrees of severity. They are currently receiving qualified medical care.
The final number of victims is being determined.
