President of Poland Andrzej Duda arrived in Kyiv to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine.
This is stated in an official message posted on the portal of the Office of the Polish President.
"The visit of President Andrzej Duda to Ukraine has begun. On the 33rd anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, the President of the Republic of Poland is participating in the celebrations," the information states.
At the same time, it is reported that the Polish leader twice participated in the celebrations of the adoption of the Act of Independence of Ukraine - in 2016 and 2021.
"Poland was the first country to recognize the Independence of Ukraine," the statement of the Polish side emphasized.
