Latvia has prepared for sending to Ukraine the largest batch of drones from local manufacturers - 1,400 units.
Latvian Defense Minister Andris Sprūds announced this on X (Twitter).
"The largest batch from Latvian manufacturers – 1,400 drones – is ready to be sent to Ukraine. This concludes the Ministry of Defense's procurement of more than 2,700 drones from the Latvian industry for Ukraine," he wrote.
In total, Latvia has provided Ukraine with 3,000 combat drones of various types and characteristics as part of the Drone Coalition.
"Together with Latvian companies, we will continue to provide support for the victory of Ukraine," the head of the Latvian Ministry of Defense emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the first Lithuanian-made FPV drones will arrive in Ukraine in September. Combat drones of five Lithuanian manufacturers have been tested by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in front-line conditions.
