Authorized banks paid out UAH 90.9 million to farmers under the program of partial compensation for the cost of Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery and equipment (25%).
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Economy, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In particular, more than UAH 220,000 of compensation was paid for April (3 farmers), for May - more than UAH 18.6 million (93 farmers), for June - almost UAH 72.2 million (204 farmers).
At the same time, it is planned to pay almost UAH 62 million of partial compensation for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment of Ukrainian production to farmers in July.
According to the report, in total, during the three months of the program, 300 agricultural enterprises purchased 460 units of Ukrainian-made machinery and equipment worth UAH 435.5 million.
"This government program is very popular among farmers and Ukrainian manufacturers and shows real results. The number of participants in the program, both farmers and equipment manufacturers, is constantly growing, the offer of agricultural machinery and equipment on the market is increasing, which stimulates the development of the mechanical engineering industry - and these are jobs, paying taxes and filling the country's budget. For 2024, we have set UAH 1 billion for the program, so I call on agricultural producers and equipment manufacturers to join the program, which is part of the "Made in Ukraine" policy,” noted Deputy Minister of Economy Andrii Teliupa.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 8, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to launch a program of 25% compensation for the cost of Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery.
