Losses of personnel of russian troops on August 22 increased by 1,190 to 605,330 people; Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 4 tanks, 32 armored fighting vehicles, and 45 artillery systems.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Thus, the enemy lost 4 tanks (total – 8,533), 32 armored combat vehicles (total – 16,599), 45 artillery systems (total – 17,307), 1 anti-aircraft defense (total – 932), 49 units of automobile equipment and tankers (total - 23,329), 6 units of special equipment (total - 2,910), 27 drones (total - 14,025), and 1 MLRS (total - 1,167).
Since the start of the war, the enemy has also lost 2,442 cruise missiles, 367 aircraft, 328 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and 1 submarine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the loss of personnel of the russian troops on August 21 increased by 1,130 to 604,140 people, equipment - by 25 armored vehicles and 46 artillery systems.
