The UkrGasVydobuvannya joint-stock company commissioned a new well with a throughput of 107,000 cubic meters of gas per day.
This follows from a statement by the company's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"The new well is an evaluation and exploitation well, with a depth of 3,715 m. The well was drilled by the Shebelinka branch of drilling works on the old gas condensate field, which has been developed since 1978. Despite this, the field has significant residual reserves - more than 900 million cubic meters of blue fuel," the message says.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the first seven months of 2024, UkrGasVydobuvannya increased gas production by 8% to 8.1 billion cubic meters.
The Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company plans to extract 15 billion cubic meters of gas in 2024 at the expense of the companies UkrGasVydobuvannya and Ukrnafta.
In 2023, UkrGasVydobuvannya produced 13.5 billion cubic meters of gas.
UkrGasVydobuvannya is the largest gas producer in Ukraine; 100% of the company's shares belong to Naftogaz.
