Overnight into August 21, the russians attacked the Kyiv Region with attack drones. As a result of falling fragments of downed targets, a private house was damaged, a fire broke out in the grass flooring, and there were breaks in power lines.
This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko.
"The enemy continues to attack our region with attack drones. The air alert lasted all night and morning for more than 9 hours. Air defense forces worked in the region. Enemy targets were shot down," the message says.
It is indicated that there were no hits to the objects of critical and residential infrastructure. There are also no victims.
At the same time, as a result of the falling fragments of downed targets, damage to one private house was recorded, and power lines were broken. Also, a grass fire broke out in one of the districts. The fire has been extinguished.
"Most of the wreckage of enemy targets is fixed outside the borders of populated areas in open areas of the terrain. Operational groups continue their work to eliminate the consequences of the air attack," Kravchenko added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, overnight into August 21, Kyiv and most regions were threatened with an attack by UAVs. In particular, up to 10 drones were headed towards the capital, but all of them were shot down by air defense on the approaches to the city.
At the same time, on the night of August 21, Moscow was attacked by 10 drones, which is one of the largest attacks on the russian capital. The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor state of the russian federation stated that a total of 45 aircraft-type UAVs attacked the country.
