The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, has said that the parliament is ready to make decisions necessary for the military, including regarding the Kursk Oblast, in which the Armed Forces are conducting an operation.
He said this at a briefing, answering a question of the Ukrainian News agency.
"If any other legislative support from the parliament is needed, we are ready in the discussion with the military to conduct everything necessary for the sole purpose, for our successful victory," this is how he answered the question whether it is necessary to make any changes to the legislation to settle the issue of the status of the Kursk Oblast.
Stefanchuk emphasized that Ukraine is conducting an operation to protect Ukraine quite effectively and not only on the territory of Ukraine itself.
He reminded that today the Rada voted the law on the status of the military of the Armed Forces fighting on the territory of russia.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the new details of the operation in the Kursk Oblast (russia).
