Losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 19 increased by 1,330 to 601,800 people; Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 5 tanks, 26 armored fighting vehicles, and 52 artillery systems.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The enemy lost 5 tanks (total – 8,518), 26 armored combat vehicles (total - 16,521), 52 artillery systems (total - 17,156), 1 anti-aircraft defense (total - 926), 1 unit of rocket artillery ( total - 1,166), 95 units of automobile equipment and tank trucks (total - 23,142), 22 units of special equipment (total - 2,885), 55 drones (total - 13,864), and 1 cruise missile (total - 2,438).
Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 367 aircraft, 328 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and 1 submarine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 18, the loss of personnel of the russian troops increased by 1,120 to 600,470 people, equipment - by 5 tanks, 15 armored vehicles, and 48 artillery systems.
