Residents of Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk District, Donetsk Region, were urged not to delay evacuation due to the approach of russian troops.
The acting head of the Myrnohrad City Military Administration, Yurii Tretiak, announced this on the air of Radio Donbas.Realii.
He decided to evacuate the city's institutions and enterprises, as well as to close shops and markets.
"The situation is very tense, and the tendency is to worsen... If Pokrovsk still has two weeks, according to calculations, then Myrnohrad does not have these weeks. Myrnohrad has a few days left, maybe a day, two or three. Because we already for the third day have been feeling even artillery fire," Tretiak said.
According to him, shops and pharmacies have already begun to close, and shelling in the city "already occurs during the day, when people are on the streets." There is also an extended curfew in Myrnohrad: from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m.
"I call on all residents of the territories adjacent to the front line, and especially families with children and relatives with limited mobility, not to delay the evacuation and leave in the near future to safer regions of Ukraine. Because this consideration of "it's worth it - it's not worth it" only leads to an increase in [the number of] victims," the head of the City Military Administration emphasized.
