Russian propagandists and military bloggers complain that the destruction of the last of the three bridges across the Seim River cut off part of the russian occupation army in the southwestern Kursk Oblast.
The russian online publication Agentstvo writes about it.
The publication writes that today, August 19, military blogger Vladimir Romanov said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the road bridge over the Seim in the village of Karizh.
This is one of the three bridges across the Seim, which connects the southwestern part of the Kursk Oblast with the rest of the region.
Later, the propaganda Telegram channel Readovka and military blogger Yuriy Podoliaka reported on the destruction of the last bridge across the Seim.
Agentstvo notes that currently there is no visual evidence that the Armed Forces of Ukraine really destroyed the third bridge across the Seim.
If the information about the destruction of the bridge is true, it means that the group of russian troops, located south of the river, was left without normal supplies.
At the same time, according to the information of OSINT analysts Moklasen and John Hardie from the Fund for the Defense of Democracy, the russians began to build pontoon crossings.
Lapin has a pontoon bridge deployed to the East already, but this might be in AFU arty range already.

In anticipation of Glushkovo bridge in Kursk Oblast being destroyed, Russia established a pontoon bridge nearby (51.3511, 34.67698).

Agentstvo recalled that thanks to such tactics in the fall of 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to cut off the supply of the russian army group on the right bank of the Kherson Region. As a result, the russians were forced to retreat from Kherson.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 16, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed a bridge over the Seim River in the area of the village of Glushkovo, Kursk Oblast.
In the evening of the same day, the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Oleshchuk, showed a video of the air strike on the bridge.
And yesterday, August 18, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the second bridge across the Seim. It is about the bridge in the village of Zvannoye.
