Russia said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the third bridge over the Seim River in the Kursk Oblast, cutting off the supply of a group of russian troops.
This information has not yet been officially confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is the last bridge over the Seim in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk Oblast. Two others were destroyed by airstrikes of the Defense Forces of Ukraine last week.
Z-military correspondent Vladimir Romanov said that "the situation is dangerous and requires the evacuation of Rylsk and Lgov before it is too late."
The destruction of the last, third, bridge will finally destroy the logistics of the occupiers. A large group of the russian army may find itself surrounded. Up to a thousand russian soldiers will be cut off by a water obstacle. They can be supplied only by boats and via pontoon crossings. The approximate area of the encirclement will be about 700 square kilometers.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 18, the aircraft of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine blew up another bridge in the Kursk Axis.
On August 17, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about strengthening the positions of Ukrainian forces in the Kursk Oblast.
On August 16, the Defense Forces of Ukraine, with the help of aviation, destroyed a road bridge over the Seim River in the settlement of Glushkovo, Kursk Oblast.
