Yesterday, August 18, in the Bilopillia community of the Sumy Region, on which the russians dropped five guided aerial bombs, a civilian was killed as a result of the airstrike, and three more civilians were injured, including an eleven-year-old child. The russians also launched an FPV drone in the community.

It was also reported here that the aggressors injured a civilian resident by dropping four guided aerial bombs on the Yunakivka community.
In total, during the past day, as of 9:00 p.m., the russians shelled the Sumy Region 89 times. 222 explosions were recorded here. 13 communities of the Sumy Region were shelled.
The Krasnopillia community came under extremely intense shelling, from where the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been storming the russian border village of Kolotilovka for several days in a row. At this community, the russians launched nine missiles from helicopters, two FPV drones, and also shelled it with artillery (17 explosions), mortars (23 explosions) and MLRS (10 explosions).
The russians were no less active in the neighboring Velyka Pysarivka community, which also borders the Belgorod Oblast of the russian federation. Eight rockets from a helicopter and five FPV drones were launched at it, four grenades from an unmanned aerial vehicle were dropped on its territory, and it was shelled with artillery (21 explosions) and mortars (32 explosions).
The enemy fired artillery (10 explosions) and FPV drones (13 explosions) at the Shalyhyne community.
The russians fired artillery (15 explosions) and mortars (9 explosions) at the Seredyna-Buda community, and also launched eight FPV drones at it.
The invaders attacked Druzhba (7 explosions), Novoslobidske (1 explosion), Hlukhiv (8 explosions) and Esman (1 explosion) communities with FPV drones.
There was rocket fire in the Lebedyn community.
The russians dropped two guided aerial bombs on the Vorozhba community, and six mines on the Putyvl community.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, since the beginning of summer, the aggressor country of the russian federation has carried out more than 2,000 strikes on the territory of the Sumy Region. Because of this, the population of 183 settlements is subject to evacuation.
