Dmytro Pletenchuk, the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, noted that the russians' construction of a mock-up of the Rostov-on-Don submarine, which was destroyed by the Defense Forces of Ukraine, is still being verified, but earlier the enemy resorted to drawing silhouettes just on the pier.
He told about this on the air of the telethon.
Thus, Pletenchuk noted that the information about the destruction of the Rostov-on-Don submarine was confirmed in various ways. After that, the russian occupiers covered the affected object with camouflage, and now there is information that the enemy has built a mock-up of this submarine.
"This information is still being verified, but this morning it appeared - that a mock-up of a Varshavyanka-type submarine was built," he said.
According to Pletenchuk, before that it was recorded that the russians drew the silhouette of this submarine just on the pier in Novorossiysk.
"Therefore, in principle, this is already the next step, the next level - from drawings to mock-ups," the spokesman added.
Recall that the Defense Express military portal, referring to satellite images, reported that the russian invaders in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol built a 56-meter wooden mock-up instead of the Rostov-on-Don submarine sunk by the Defense Forces.
