Overnight into Thursday, August 15, russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine with three Kh-59 guided air missiles and 29 Shahed-type UAVs; the air defense forces managed to destroy all 29 enemy drones.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Telegram, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Overnight into August 15, 2024, the enemy attacked with three Kh-59 guided air missiles from the airspace of the Kursk region (RF) and 29 Shahed-type UAVs from the area of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Yeisk, as well as from Kursk Region (RF)," the message says.
As a result of anti-aircraft combat, 29 enemy UAVs were shot down in the Mykolayiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv Regions.
