On August 14, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) captured more than 100 russian soldiers during an operation in the Kursk Oblast of russia.

Ukrainian News was informed about this by sources in the SSU.

"SSU special forces captured 102 soldiers of the russian federation. This is the most massive capture of the enemy that was carried out at one time," the interlocutors reported.

The special capture operation was carried out by soldiers of the Special Operations Center A of the SSU.

They seized and cleared the sprawling, concreted, and well-fortified company stronghold from all sides - with underground communications and living quarters for personnel, a dining room, an armory and even a bathhouse.

The enemy was not going to surrender; provisions and ammunition were more than enough.

SSU special forces captured 102 servicemen of the 488th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the russian Armed Forces and the Akhmat unit.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, during the hostilities in the Kursk Oblast, 32 russian soldiers were captured by the Ukrainian military; among them are both contract soldiers, conscripts, and those mobilized.
