The Cabinet of Ministers approved the conditions for tenders for the construction of generating capacities.
This follows from a statement by the Ministry of Energy, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"This will allow to increase the volume of generation in the power system and its further development. In particular, it is envisaged to hold tenders for the construction of facilities, the capacity of each of which is 5 MW - 80 MW, and the total capacity of the tender is 700 MW. The relevant facilities must be put into operation until the end of 2027," the message reads.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine intends to build 1 GW of flexible gas generation in 2024 and another 4 GW in the coming years.
