Russians complain about AFU’s additional advance in Kursk Oblast

Russian propagandist and military blogger Yuriy Podoliaka claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) achieved new successes in the south of the Kursk Oblast, russian. According to him, the Ukrainian military allegedly captured another village.

Podoliaka wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

According to the propagandist, as of the evening of Sunday, August 11, the russian troops in the Kursk Oblast have not managed to change the situation in their favor.

Podoliaka complained that the Ukrainian military allegedly succeeded in capturing the village of Gordiivka.

Also, by the evening of August 11, the AFU allegedly managed to get hold of the settlement of Martynivka. The propagandist claims that there is ongoing fighting there.

He added that the russian army is allegedly hastily transferring reserves to the Kursk Oblast.

The propagandist published a map on which he marked the territory, which, in his opinion, is under the control of the Ukrainian military.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 11, the Financial Times wrote that the russians were unable to oust the Armed Forces from the Kursk Oblast, despite the arrival of additional russian forces in the region.

On August 9, the deputy of the State Duma of the russian Federation, Andriy Gurulyov, called on russians to prepare for the fact that the russian army will not be able to dislodge the AFU from the Kursk Oblast in a short period of time.

Fighters of the Chechen unit Akhmat were captured by the Ukrainian military, whom the russians themselves accuse of escaping from their positions in the Kursk Oblast.
