Russian occupation troops are preparing for an assault in Vovchansk in the north of the Kharkiv Region. The invaders regrouped the assault units.

According to the Defense Forces, the situation in the Kharkiv direction has not undergone significant changes. The occupiers continue to attack the positions of the Ukrainian military.
"In Vovchansk, as part of preparations for the assault, the enemy has regrouped the assault groups of the 153rd tank regiment, and is also carrying out an internal rotation of personnel in the units of the 138th separate motorized rifle brigade," the message says.
In addition, the occupiers intensified aerial reconnaissance with drones in the direction of Kozacha Lopan - Zolochiv, looking for units of the Armed Forces.
Four combat clashes took place in the Vovchansk district during the past day. Since the beginning of this day, the Defense Forces have repelled one enemy attack.
