Large-scale fire starts near Kherson due to shelling by occupation forces: city engulfed in smoke - Administration

Last night, due to russian shelling, a large-scale fire broke out near Kherson, the fire broke out in an open area outside the city.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration informs about this on its Telegram channel.

"Due to the strong wind, the smoke spread quickly, engulfing almost all of Kherson. Firefighters are making every effort to put out the fire," the post states.

The authorities emphasize that the situation is complicated by the high probability that the areas where the fire is raging may be not demined yet.

Until the situation with the air condition improves, residents are advised to close the windows in their houses and not to go outside if not necessary.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 8, rescuers had to put out 30 fires caused by enemy shelling in the Kherson Region.
