Russian authorities introduce CTO regime in Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod Oblasts

In the Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod Oblasts of the terrorist country of russia, a regime of counter-terrorist operation (CTO) has been introduced due to "an increase in the level of sabotage and terrorist threats from Ukraine."

This is reported by the state agencies of the russian federation with reference to the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC).

In these regions, additional measures will be taken to ensure security, the NAC said.

According to russian legislation, the CTO regime provides for the verification of documents at the entrance and exit to the zone covered by the regime, the possibility of forcibly evicting the civilian population, and also gives law enforcement officers the right to enter any premises and requisition transport if necessary.

In addition, in areas where the CTO regime operates, the authorities can limit the Internet and disconnect communications.

In the Kursk Oblast, since August 6, hostilities have continued after the Ukrainian army entered the region. Against the background of the offensive of the Armed Forces in the region on August 9, a federal emergency was declared. On the same day, a video appeared on social networks with alleged soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the flag of Ukraine against the background of the branch of the Gazprom company in Sudzha, Kursk Oblast.

In general, according to the information that appeared in the media, Ukrainian forces captured about 100 square kilometers of the territory of the region. The Ministry of Defense of russia claims that it controls the situation.
