US President Joe Biden suggested that the opponent of the Democrats, Donald Trump, will not want to admit defeat and will not allow a peaceful transfer of power.
The current US President said this in an interview with CBS.
Biden was asked if he was confident that there would be a peaceful transfer of power in January 2025.
"If Trump loses, I'm not sure at all. He means what he says. We don't take him seriously. But he means it - all this stuff about 'if we lose, there will be bloodshed, these will be stolen election," Biden said.
In addition, the President of the United States admitted that the Trump team could resort to falsifications in order for Trump to win.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 21, Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the presidential race, in which Donald Trump was supposed to be his opponent.
He later posted a message in which he said he supported Vice President Kamala Harris' candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination.
In addition, the candidate for the US presidency from the Republicans, Donald Trump, said that it will be easier to defeat Kamala Harris than Biden.
