Kernel Holding, one of the largest operators in the oil market, reported that its largest oilseed processing plant in western Ukraine was damaged as a result of a recent drone attack by russia.
This is stated in the company's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, the work of the plant was suspended, and the fire caused by the attack was extinguished.
"Fortunately, as a result of the attack, no one was injured. The company is currently assessing the extent of the damage and related losses," the message says.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the 2022/2023 marketing year (July 2022 - June 2023), Kernel made a net profit of USD 299 million against a loss of USD 41 million in 2021/2022.
The company's enterprises produce products under the names Shchedryi Dar, Stozhar, Chumak Zolota.
Kernel owns 8 oilseed processing plants in Ukraine.
