The actual volume of grain exports by Ukraine since the beginning of the 2024/2025 marketing year (July 2024 - June 2025) and as of August 7, had made 4.356 million tons, up 85% or 2 million tons more than in the same period of the previous marketing year.
This follows from a statement by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
A total of 1,938,000 tons of wheat, 661,000 tons of barley, 0.3,000 tons of rye, and 1,740,000 tons of corn have already been exported.
At the same time, during the specified period, the export of wheat flour and flour from other crops decreased by 61%, or by 12,000 tons, to 7,600 tons.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine exported 50.8 million tons of grain in the 2023/2024 marketing year, which is 3.2% or 1.59 million tons more than in the last marketing year.
