Ukrenergo’s foreign supervisory board members receive no salary in July, while Ukrainian members earn UAH 232,000 each

Foreign members of the supervisory board of the Ukrenergo national energy company did not receive their salaries in July, while the members of the supervisory board, Yurii Boiko, Yurii Tokarskyi, and Oleksandr Baraniuk each received UAH 232,039 in salary in July.

This follows from a statement by the company, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In particular, payments to the member of the supervisory board, Roman Pionkovski, were not made in July due to unresolved issues with banking institutions regarding payments in foreign currency.

At the same time, the head of the supervisory board of Ukrenergo, Daniel Dobbeni, and the member of the supervisory board of Ukrenergo, Peder Andreasen, were not charged and paid wages due to the lack of acts of acceptance and transfer of the services performed.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the salary of the board members of Ukrenergo in July amounted to UAH 2.2 million.

Ukrenergo reported a profit of UAH 400 million for 2023.

Ukrenergo carries out dispatching of the energy system of Ukraine and transfers electricity from power plants to the networks of energy supply companies.

In addition, the company is entrusted with the functions of the organizer of auctions regarding access to the crossing of interstate power transmission lines for the export of electricity.
