Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff decision directs additional funding to missile program, there will be more missiles - Zelenskyy

By decision of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, additional funding was allocated to the missile program.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"By the decision of the Staff, additional funding was directed to our missile program. There will be more missiles of our own production," he said.

The issue of the production of Ukrainian drones and missiles, the needs of the Defense Forces until the end of the year, and the dynamics of production were considered at the Staff meeting. Defense Minister Rustem Umierov reported on the saturation of additional brigades with weapons and equipment.

At the Staff meeting, the situation at the front was also examined, in particular in detail the Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Kharkiv axes. Zelenskyy said that Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported via video link, because he is now on the front line and keeps the situation under personal control.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy previously stated that it is most effective when the consequences of the russian war return home, to russia.

In July, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine was approaching the use of domestic missiles.
