Farion was killed by shot in back of head, not in temple - investigation

Former member of the Verkhovna Rada, linguist Iryna Farion was killed by a shot in the back of the head, not in the temple.

This is evidenced by court materials, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The pre-trial investigation established that the suspect, who was in the courtyard of the house, guided by motives that have not been established at the moment, acted deliberately, that is, aware of the social danger of his act, aimed at taking the life of another person, its socially dangerous consequences and wanting them to occur, with the aim of causing death of Iryna Farion, using a firearm equipped with 9x18 caliber cartridges purchased in advance under circumstances and place not established by the pre-trial investigation, fired a shot into a vital organ - Farion's head, in the back of the head.

As part of the investigation, the court allowed the police temporary access to the belongings and documents of the Nova Poshta company, in particular, data on the sender of the parcel received by the suspect Vyacheslav Zinchenko before the murder of Farion.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the suspect in the murder of Farion, Vyacheslav Zinchenko, refused to testify in the case.
