AFU General Staff confirms attack on russian airfield Morozovsk

Overnight into August 3, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of successful strikes on strategic objects on the territory of the russian federation. The main target was the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov Oblast, where ammunition depots, including guided aerial bombs, were hit, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs.

The operation was carried out by the joint efforts of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Currently, the information regarding the possible damage to the enemy's anti-aircraft defense and aviation equipment is being clarified.

In addition, Ukrainian defenders attacked a number of oil depots and fuel and lubricant storage facilities in the Belgorod, Kursk and Rostov Oblasts of russia. It is confirmed that at least two oil tanks were hit and caught fire.

These actions are aimed at systematically undermining the military and economic potential of the russian army in order to force the aggressor to stop armed aggression against Ukraine.
