Occupiers activated in Pokrovsk Axis. AFU repel 53 assault and offensive actions

127 combat clashes were recorded at the front during the past day. A third of them took place in the Pokrovsk Axis.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yesterday, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck four control points, an air defense facility, a radar station and two areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

In the Kharkiv Axis, the enemy continued active operations, a total of five combat clashes took place. The fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Tykhe.

In the Kupyansk Axis, the enemy attacked the positions of the units of the AFU seven times. The main efforts of the invaders were made in Pishchane and Stelmakhivka areas.

In the Lyman Axis, Ukrainian troops repelled six attacks by the occupiers near Makiyivka and Torske.

In the Siversk Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 11 assaults near Ivanodaryivka, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Vyimka, and Pereyizne.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, our soldiers stopped six attempts by the enemy to break through the defenses in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, and towards Hryhorivka, Donetsk Region.

In the Toretsk Axis, with the support of aviation, the enemy carried out 24 attacks near the settlements of Pivnichne, Zalizne, Toretsk and New York.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 53 assault and offensive actions. The enemy concentrated its efforts in the areas of Novooleksandrivka and Zhelanne, where it carried out eight and 18 attacks, respectively. In addition, the attempts of the occupiers to advance were stopped near Panteleymonivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Svyrydonivka, Novoselivka Persha, Yasnobrodivka, and Kalynivka of the Donetsk Region.

In the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviyivka and Kostiantynivka settlements, where the enemy tried seven times to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops.

In the Vremivka Axis, the aggressor carried out two assaults on our positions near Vodiane, Donetsk Region.

Two enemy attacks in the direction of Mala Tokmachka also took place in the Orikhiv Axis.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, defenders harshly stopped the occupiers' attempt to advance on the left bank of the Dnieper River.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of July 30-31, the occupiers launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, using 89 drones. Air defense forces shot down all the drones and the Kh-59 missile.
