In July, Ukraine reduced electricity import by 2% month over month to 837,800 MWh, while there was no electricity export.
This follows from a statement by ExPro, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to the publication, in July, electricity supplies increased only from Hungary by 5.5% and from Poland by 10%.
At the same time, in the rest of the directions (Slovakia, Moldova, Romania), the import of electricity decreased.
The largest share in the import structure will continue to be occupied by Hungary - 45%, followed by Poland (19%), Romania (18%), and the rest - Slovakia and Moldova.
According to ExPro calculations, the average hourly import capacity in July amounted to 1,126 MW.
At the same time, the most electricity was imported at 6 p.m. - the average figure for the month was 1,308 MW.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in June, Ukraine increased electricity imports by 91% month over month to 858,300 MWh.
