Russia spread fakes about invasion of poisonous spiders in Ukraine

In Ukraine, there was not a single mass request for medical help due to the bites of poisonous spiders. Reports of an alleged epidemic are russian throw-ins.

This was announced by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday, July 31.

"There seems to be another exacerbation in the swamps. We just disproved the myth of the dengue fever epidemic in Ukraine, as they brought in a new one - an invasion of poisonous spiders. Moreover, this "epidemic", in their sick imagination, originates from the same American biolaboratories, from where the fighting pigeons flew! It's good that at least it's not a hybrid of a spider and a pigeon..." the message says.

Russian propaganda "attributed" to Ukraine mass hospitalizations and even deaths due to the bites of poisonous spiders. The Ministry of Health explained that there was not a single mass request for medical assistance due to spiders, and the only case was a karakurt spider bite in the Odesa Region. The victim is currently in a stable condition in the hospital, where the person is receiving all the necessary help. The heat made the spiders somewhat more active, but without fatal consequences for Ukrainians, the Ministry of Health emphasized. In case of a bite, you should consult a doctor, but in Ukraine there are practically no cases when the bites of the most poisonous spider lead to death.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 17, the Ministry of Health stated that the information regarding the fines for generator owners for exceeding the noise level during the operation of the devices is not true.
