Overnight into July 31, the air defense forces have destroyed all air targets in the Kyiv Region that were launched by the enemy. At the same time, damage to 13 private houses in four districts was recorded as a result of falling debris in the region.
This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko.
"Dear residents of the Kyiv Region! All night, the enemy massively attacked our region with attack drones. The air alert lasted for more than 7 hours. Air defense forces were working in the region. All enemy targets were shot down," the message says.
The Regional Military Administration added that hitting residential and critical infrastructure objects was not allowed. There are no victims among the population.
At the same time, as of 9:30 a.m., there is information about damage to 13 private houses in four districts of the Kyiv Region. In particular, debris damaged facades, roofs, windows were broken. In one of these buildings, rescuers of the State Emergency Service extinguished the fire.
Currently, operational groups continue to work on fixing and eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack. Most of the UAV wreckage falls are recorded outside of populated areas.
Kravchenko informed that all the victims will be provided with the necessary assistance. He also thanked the Defense Forces for reliable protection, and also called on the residents of the region not to ignore air warning signals and stay in shelters during them.
We will remind you that on the night of July 31, the russian invaders attacked Ukraine with a Kh-59 guided air missile from the airspace of the occupied Kherson Region and 89 Shahed type UAVs from the Yeysk, Seshcha, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions. The main direction of the attack was the Kyiv Region.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, on the night of Wednesday, July 31, russian troops carried out one of the most massive attacks with the help of attack UAVs during the entire war.
