Ihor Sulyma, the lawyer of the suspect in the murder of professor and linguist Iryna Farion, explained his words "we'll see" in response to the question whether he committed the murder.
The lawyer said this in an interview with Ukrainian News Agency.
"I'll explain to you why he said that. He said it because he's sure that he didn't do it. The child is 18 years old and behaves so confidently? I understand that there are a lot of speculations that he is supposedly trained and was trained. An 18-year-old guy, excuse me, walks around Lviv for 2 days, knowing that he will be wanted and that he is wanted? If he had done that, he would not have been sitting in Lviv simply," the lawyer said.
He explained that he is a lawyer in cases of double murders and stated that "such people, after committing crimes, hide, disguise themselves, move inconspicuously, and so on."
"In this case, a person walks around Lviv for another 2 days, buys a ticket to get home, although he could have hitchhiked or through BlaBlaCar, but he does not do this. He goes to the ticket office under the cameras and buys a train ticket, being already wanted and calmly goes home. Already upon his arrival, he bought a subscription to the gym and his relatives did not notice any changes in his behavior," the lawyer emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the suspect in the murder of Farion refused to testify. The lawyer of the suspect in the murder of Farion told about the similarity of the case with the murder of Sheremet.
