On July 28, a total of 128 combat clashes took place at the front; Pokrovske remained the hottest Axis, where 52 clashes took place during the day.
This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU posted on its Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using three missiles, as well as 69 airstrikes, dropping 88 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy fired more than 5,200 shots, 96 of them using MLRSes.
During the day, 128 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded.
The enemy attacked the Kharkiv Axis six times.
The defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
On the Kupiyansk Axis, two combat clashes took place near Novoosynove and Synkivka.
On the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 14 times near Makiyivka, Nevske, Novoserhiyivka, Terny, Novosadove, and Torske.
On the Siversk Axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight assaults by russian invaders near Spirne, Verkhniokamiyanske, Pereyizne, and Ivano-Dariyivka.
On the Kramatorsk Axis, the occupiers attacked ten times in the areas of Vasiukivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiyivka, Hryhorivka, and Bondarne.
On the Toretsk Axis, the russians carried out 17 attacks near Pivnichne, Niu York, Toretsk, and Zalizne.
On the Pokrovske Axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 52 assaults in the areas of Tymofiyivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Zelene Pole, Kalynove, Ivanivka, Prohres, Zhelanne, Sergiivka, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka settlements.
With the support of aviation, the occupiers tried to dislodge Ukrainian units from the occupied borders.
The greatest concentration of enemy attacks was near Zhelanne and Novooleksandrivka.
On the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces repelled five attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, and Paraskoviyivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops.
On the Vremivka Axis, russian troops carried out five assaults near Velika Novosilka, Kostiantynivka, and Rozdolne.
On the Huliaipole and Orikhiv Axes, the occupiers will continue to try to knock Ukrainian units out of their positions.
Four combat clashes took place here in the districts of Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, and Novoandriyivka.
On the Dnipro Axis, the russian attack was not successful during the assault on the left bank of the Dnieper River.
On July 28, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out five strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and anti-aircraft defenses of the enemy. Also, they hit five artillery systems, the control point of the UAVs, and the object of the infrastructure of the occupiers.
In total, the russian invaders lost 1,310 people last day.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 26, a total of 107 combat clashes took place at the front; the enemy attacked the Pokrovske Axis the most.
