On July 26, a total of 122 combat engagements took place at the front; the enemy attacked the Pokrovske Axis the most, where 37 clashes were recorded.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) posted on its Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The enemy carried out 46 airstrikes (in particular, 65 anti-aircraft missiles were used) and 466 kamikaze drone strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, carried out 3,163 attacks on AFU positions and populated areas with artillery and other types of weapons.
During the day, according to data as of 10 p.m. on July 26, a total of 107 combat clashes were recorded.
On the Kharkiv Axis, the russian occupiers tried nine times to storm the defense lines in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, and Slobozhanskyi.
On the Kupiyansk Axis, the enemy six attacked AFU positions near the settlements of Tabayivka and Stelmakhivka.
On the Lyman Axis, russian troops attacked ten times near Novoyehorivka, Novoserhiyivka, Nevske, and Terny.
On the Siversk Axis, the aggressor carried out three assault actions near Verkhniokamiyanske.
On the Kramatorsk Axis, the enemy attacked six times near Chasiv Yar and Hryhorivka. On the Toretsk Axis, the russians attacked 11 times near the settlements of Sieverne, Zalizne, Toretsk, and Niu York.
The enemy is attacking most intensively on the Pokrovske Axis: there have been 30 assaults by the russians since the beginning of the day, mainly near the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha, and Yasnobrodivka.
On the Kurakhove Axis, the invaders tried to advance 14 times in the areas of settlements of Netailove, Kostiantynivka, Krasnohorivka, and Paraskoviyivka.
On the Vremivka Axis, the invaders attacked nine times in the areas of Vodiane and Urozhaine, the enemy is concentrating its efforts in the direction of Staromlynivka.
On the Orikhiv Axis, five enemy attacks failed near Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, and Novoandriyivka.
