Russians withdraw all warships from Sea of Azov due to damage of railway ferry - Pletenchuk

The russian occupation army withdrew all warships from the Sea of Azov after the Defense Forces attacked their ferry Slavyanin in the Kavkaz port.

This was announced by the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, captain 3rd rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, on the air of the United News telethon.

"As for Azov, there are no more russian warships there. Previously, they could be based there somewhere, enter, for example, stay in the Taganrog Bay," Dmytro Pletenchuk said.

According to him, the enemy's decision is primarily related to the damage of the railway ferry.

"They took a map, took a compass, drew a radius and realized that it is not very safe to stay there. The language of force is the only language our enemy understands," the spokesman added.

Dmytro Pletenchuk added that the affected ferry was the third and last one in the Azov-Black Sea region.

The spokesman added that in the Black Sea, the main activity of the enemy is connected with aviation, there is only one submarine in the water area.

"This has also become a practice regarding the presence of submarines in particular. Before that, there were no such units at all for a long time. Of course, they cannot afford to completely leave the Black Sea, except when it comes to surface ships," Dmytro Pletenchuk added.
