According to the results of the first half of 2024, the net profit of PrivatBank reached UAH 30.6 billion.
This is stated in the bank's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In the first six months of 2024, the total volume of the net loan portfolio exceeded UAH 102 billion, which is an absolute record in the history of the bank and the Ukrainian market.
In total, the credit portfolios of PrivatBank for businesses and population increased by UAH 26.2 billion (34%) compared to the results of the six months of 2023.
Since the beginning of 2024, client funds in hryvnia accounts at PrivatBank have increased by more than UAH 30 billion (8%).
At the same time, the share of term deposits remains stable, despite the trend of decreasing interest rates on deposits.
Compared to the first half of last year, clients' funds in hryvnia accounts increased by almost UAH 70 billion (20%).
According to the results of the first half of 2024, the net profit of PrivatBank reached UAH 30.6 billion, which is 3% more than in the same period last year.
At the same time, the financial result of the bank before taxation is UAH 40.7 billion, which is 11% more than in the first half of 2023.
Operating expenses at the end of the six months of 2024 increased by only 2% compared to the six months of last year, which is significantly below inflation.
In the first half of the year, PrivatBank transferred UAH 90.6 million for charity, which was directed to programs for strengthening the country's defense capabilities, assistance to hospitals and medical facilities, social projects, assistance to employees, as well as the construction of shelters in the Kharkiv Region.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 12, 2024, PrivatBank remitted income tax in the amount of UAH 26.0 billion and the first tranche of dividends to the state budget.
In 2023, PrivatBank increased its profit by 25% to UAH 37.8 billion compared to 2022 (UAH 30.3 billion).
In 2022, PrivatBank reduced its profit by 14% to UAH 30.25 billion compared to 2021 (UAH 35.05 billion).
100% of PrivatBank belongs to the state represented by the Ministry of Finance.
