Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Vice President Kamala Harris is "vicious and dumb" and called it a "bad combination."
This was reported by the New York Post.
Trump lashed out at his potential campaign rival.
"There are two words to describe Kamala Harris: vicious and dumb. It's a bad combination," the 78-year-old Republican presidential candidate said the day after Biden dropped out of the race.
Biden campaign spokesman Ammar Moussa said he did not want to "reinvent the wheel" to respond to Trump's latest remarks and provided The Post with a previously released statement.
"Vice President Kamala Harris has spent her entire career bringing criminals to justice - and Donald Trump will be no exception. Vice President Harris has dedicated her career to making life better for working people, while Trump only cares about himself. That's the contrast the American people will see within the next 106 days," the statement said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 21, US President Joseph Biden announced his decision to withdraw from the presidential race.
After announcing his withdrawal from the presidential race, Biden endorsed the candidacy of Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential candidate.
On July 21, Trump said that, in his opinion, Vice President Kamala Harris will be easier to defeat in the November election than the incumbent Democratic President Joe Biden.
